Kirat Karni was established by our founder, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and means to earn an honest living.
Vand Chakna
Share & consume
Vand Chakna means to share and consume together. This is practised on a day to day basis by many Sikhs who will share what they have with their friends and family. It is also practised in our Gurdwara with our community kitchen known as Langar.
Naam Japna
Recite God’s Name
Naan Japna means to remember and recite God’s name. Constantly remembering God’s name (often Waheguru Ji) to cultivate spiritual consciousness, humility and inner peace.
